Extras

• We will be a rather large group. Maybe 30 that I know of but the place is soul-d out. It’s too big of a group to organize. If you want to connect for dinner please contact me directly. I’ll see what I can do to get the word out on meetups.
• Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday. I know where I’m going to be…in my favorite neighborhood dive bar. Join me if you like for a good Boston sports experience. This is a bar that back in the day was so tough they had to search everyone for a gun. If you didn’t have one they gave you one.

  • I’ve been there and it’s a good pub style place. It’s not too big and it’s popular. In other words get there before the dinner rush.

  • This is a rather large restaurant and could handle a large group. There are a few of these in the greater Boston area.
  • I’ve been there and I like it but some reviews are not so favorable. I wouldn’t let that stop me from going back.
  • If you are staying at the Hampton Inn Norwood you can walk across the parking lot to it.
• There are LOTS of restaurants on Rt. 1 (Boston-Providence Highway).
• Norwood itself is a nice little community and has good restaurants as well.
